From Asia to Aliyah

Dov Ber’s unique presentation takes you through his six year journey across Asia, back to Israel and his Jewish roots. The power point presentation includes his 1200 km pilgrimage around a Japanese Island, meditation retreats in the Nepalese Himalayas, volunteering in Thailand, Sri Lanka and India, extreme martial arts training in Korea, China and Japan, walking the length of Israel for charity and setting up social action and self-development programs in exotic places across the world.
The presentation can also include a tai chi workout, meditation, music (piano, guitar, bamboo flute), Asian folk songs and basic language lessons (Hindi, Thai, Japanese, Hebrew).

Innovation Incubator (4 hours)
Based on your personal strengths and passion, identify what need or opportunity you see in the world, form an effective solution and elevator pitch, design a coherent strategy, make SMART goals and a SWOT analyses, script an executive summary and business plan, iron out possible obstacles and take the first steps to bringing the project into reality.
Life Goals Workshop (1 – 4 hours)
Sof ma’ase b’machshava techila: If you don’t have a clear idea of what you want to achieve in life, you clearly won’t achieve everything you can. This workshop helps people identify what they want to achieve in the main areas of their life, and gives practical ideas on how to achieve them.
Leadership Qualities Workshop (2 hours)
Define what it means to be a leader, identify what qualities and skills it takes and rate yourself in these areas.
Finally, discover whether what you came up with is in line with the leadership qualities demonstrated by our ancestors mentioned in the Torah – you may be surprised.
Mindfulness Meditation Retreat (2 hours – 4 days)
The mind is like a monkey, jumping all over the place, living either in the past or the future. We so often miss out on connecting to the present moment and a living a conscious, empowered life. Learn techniques on how to find peace from the incessant chattering of the mind, improve your concentration, eat more consciously, live life more joyously and learn to focus
on the present moment.
